About
Mendocino County Mainstem and Tributary Russian River Water Demand Management Programs (WDMP) provide two online tools. One is for mainstem diverters only to coordinate with the operators of Coyote Dam to assure river stage does not drop when diversions are made for frost. The second online tool is for tributary and mainstem diverters to report their use of water for the March 15 to May 15th frost season. Using these tools is a requirement of the WDMP to satisfy the requirements of the State Water Resources Control Board Frost Regulation. The California Land Stewardship Institute (CLSI) is the governing body for the WDMP.
CLSI is a non-profit organization dedicated to planning and implementing environmental stewardship, restoration and enhancement programs and projects including educational activities, scientific studies, promotion of beneficial stewardship practices, and resource conservation activities on private and public lands and waterways. CLSI also supports and supplies marketing and promotion on behalf of certified members of the Fish Friendly Farming Environmental Certification program.
CLSI operates the Fish Friendly Farming Environmental Certification Program in Sonoma, Mendocino, Napa, Solano, El Dorado, Placer, Amador, Santa Clara & Kern counties. Our staff includes environmental scientists, hydrologists, and geologists.
CLSI works with hundreds of landowners and managers, local districts, non-profit organizations, and a number of private consultants to design and implement environmental projects.
